Ellie Goulding bought married to artwork supplier Caspar Jopling this previous Saturday in a marriage costume match for royalty. The singer’s bespoke wedding ceremony costume, courtesy of Chloe designer Natacha Ramsay-Levi, was really the stuff of fairy tales. And Ellie had a hand in designing her dream costume. “Natacha worked alongside me to design something timeless and classic, but with all the Chloe spirit,” Ellie advised Folks.

The princess-worthy robe took over 640 hours or near 26 days to finish. The Victorian-inspired silk crepe costume had a fairly conservative silhouette resulting from its lengthy sleeves and excessive neckline. However, as with most wedding ceremony clothes, the satan was within the particulars. With white glass beads and delicate hand embroidery, it’s no marvel it took almost a month to create. Even Ellie’s silk tulle veil had a private contact with the letters “E” and “C” woven in.
